
Hi, I’m Rachel, owner of The Fit Place.
I began my own fitness journey into group classes in 2008. I loved how I felt after each class and wanted to give that to others. When I walk out of class, I feel stronger and taller. More importantly, I’m aware of how I’m moving and in tune with my physical and mental health. It’s an incredible feeling and sets me up for a better day!
I love many types of classes, but for me, teaching Mind-Body formats is where I get really excited. I often joke that I only teach classes that don’t require shoes.
My qualifications have involved hundreds of hours of endless learning over many years.
Yoga – 200 hour RYT
Pilates Mat, Reformer & Chair – Balanced Body
Barre – Balanced Body, Booty Barre & Les Mills
Bodybalance – Les Mills
Group Fitness – ACE
When I’m not teaching fitness classes, I’m busy living the mom life with two active boys. My husband and oldest get the credit for building me the ultimate she shed and supporting my dream. When you arrive, you may get a welcoming bark from Jasper, our Great Pyrenees, to say hello.
